Meet the team: Adrian Brannan – contributor
Ade has been a lifelong Ford fan with no real persuasion…
Starting out with an insatiable curiosity in cars at a mere two years old, when he would drag his Mum around requesting boot badges to be read out on random cars. In primary school the ordeal of football training was signed up for purely because the coach drove his brand new Capri 2.8i on the way to the pitch beside the jogging (and in some cases gawping) schoolboys.
When the eagerly anticipated age of seventeen finally arrived, being an unashamed ’80s Ford fan, Ade passed his test in a knackered Sierra. He then indulged himself in the pursuit of Mk3 Escorts. Ownership of a more typical classic Ford (namely this very Capri) came about a few years later, but it’s still with him today after seven years!
After adding over 100,000 daily miles to the clock of this once minty Mk3 Capri, the temptation to turn the Capri into a fully fledged drift machine has taken over. If Ade isn’t behind a camera on location shooting a hot feature car, you’ll generally find him somewhere in a cloud of smoke desperately trying to master the perfect slide… (on a track of course, officer!).
Ade drives: Mk3 Capri.
