Classic Ford Legends at the Classic Ford Show

Exclusive to the 2010 Classic Ford Show will be a special Legends display dedicated to cars that have helped shape the old Ford scene as we know it.

We’re keeping what cars will be on show close to our chests, but we can reveal that this awesome, semi-spaceframed Special Saloon Mk1 Escort will be attending.

First built in the late ’70s by Maurice Lyon and Barry Costello, it’s changed hands numerous times since, disappeared for a while, was famously owned by Peter Thurston for many years, was nearly written off, but is now back in the hands of the Costello family, and is being put back to its original livery by Barry’s son, Lee.

Find the Legends display in the Classic Ford magazine area at the show, which takes place at Santa Pod Raceway on June 6. More details and advance tickets here: www.classicfordshow.co.uk.
