Capri Video: Insane 7-Second Street-Legal Aussie!

We’d love to have a go in many classic Fords, but we’re not so keen on getting behind the wheel of this one!

This Australian Mk1 Capri covers 400 metres (8 feet short of a quarter-mile) in just 7.68 seconds, with a terminal speed of 180 mph — largely thanks to a 600 cu.inch big-block V8 and leaf springs on the rear… Just watch it snaking down the track on its second run!
