It's Classic Ford Of The Year time! The nominess for 2011 have just been announced, and you can find out which of the 12 cars we've featured this year you can vote for below. Happy votings!
![]() Car A: Escort RS2000 Owner: Paul Welch Featured: December 2010 Restored and painted at home in a single garage, and with a concours-winning finish. Proof that homebuilt classic Fords can mix it with the pros. ![]() Car B: Popular 100E Owner: Andy Gardner Featured: August 2011 Treated to some carefully selected period features, the Pop proved to be the perfect first build for young Andy. A 1600cc Pinto was insurance friendly, too. ![]() Car C: Zakspeed Escort Owners: Martin & Dirk Nowak Featured: Summer 2011 Awesome Zakspeed Escort is the real deal that was lovingly restored by the two brothers. There’s even a genuine BDG engine under the bonnet. ![]() Car D: Mk1 Fiesta Owner: Dave Smith Featured: December 2010 Dave’s Fiesta was a great all rounder. Packing Zetec power on carbs with clean-cut looks, extra wide wheels and an immaculate retrimmed interior. ![]() Car E: Lotus Anglia Owner: Tony Amdur Featured: March 2011 Certainly one of the most prolific cars of the year and with good reason. Fit and finish of the Lotus twin-cam engine and accessories was easily as good as factory. ![]() Car F: Escort Estate Owner: Ben Szanto Featured: August 2011 There’s low Escorts and then there’s this estate. Lowered 6 inches it’s with a doubt one of the best-looking cars in terms of stance that we’ve seen. ![]() Car G: Capri 3000E Owner: Steve Butler Featured: March 2011 Built and restored with the help of his son, this Capri ended up with a snarling Ric Wood 3.1 V6 on triple carbs. Period looks and colour went down a treat. ![]() Car H: Mk1 Cortina Owner: Mathew Sturmer Featured: January 2011 Could this be the perfect period racer? Packed with nogstaligic parts and finished off with a Throbnozzle Racing screaming Pre-Crossflow motor. ![]() Car I: Mk2 Escort Owner: Gary Saunders Featured: July 2011 A proper South London car sitting perfectly over those wheels and still boasting the original vinyl roof. Natrually Pinto-powered and all built on a driveway, too. ![]() Car J: Cortina Estate Owner: Allen Bedford Featured: October 2011 Strong hot rod-influenced Cortina was typically American in engine and wheel choice, making over 400 bhp from a race-tuned Ford V8 and sitting on 10J wheels. ![]() Car K: Mk1 Fiesta Owner: Steve Dowling Featured: May 2011 A proper homebuilt car created from a standard base model. Definately one of the nicest, cleanest and best prepared Fiestas we’ve ever seen. ![]() Car L: Capri Turbo Owner: Adrian Alderson Featured: November 2011 Extra-rare bodykit took years to track down and together with a YB engine pushing over 300 bhp as well as those wide Image split rims made it a worthy cover car. Voting closes November 18, 2011.The winning car will be revealed in the January 2011 issue of Classic Ford, on sale December 13, 2011.
