With the last big outdoor Blue Oval event of the year done and dusted, you could be forgiven for feeling a little down in the mouth right now.
Fear not, we have just the thing to lift your spirits – details of next year’s official Classic Ford Tour! We’ve pulled a few strings, and once again in conjunction with Scenic Car Tours, have put together a cracking weekend in May next year in Germany!
On this brand-new Classic Ford Tour, which takes place over the long weekend of May 11-14, you’ll enjoy a full day exploring the spectacular Rhine Valley from Koblenz to Rudesheim an exciting and informative backstage tour of the Nurburgring including admission to the RingWerk Museum.
The Rhine Valley is straight out of a picture book, with precipitous cliffs, steep vineyards, a castle perched on virtually every hilltop and pretty villages lining the river banks on either side. Myths and legends abound here, such as the story of Loreley, the beautiful siren of the rocks. Towns like Bacharach, Boppard, St Goar and Linz epitomise the charm of this remarkable area with its rich cultural heritage. UNESCO has recognised the importance of the region by designating the Middle Rhine Valley a World Heritage area.
Cologne offers seemingly endless attractions, led by its famous cathedral whose twin spires dominate the skyline. It’s regularly voted the country’s single most popular tourist attraction.
Nürburgring Ringwerk Situated next to the main visitor centre above the Kart Circuit, the Ring Werk is a museum and eleven interactive attractions that focus on different aspects of the Nurburgring and its history.
Nürburgring Backstage Tour This a one and a half hour guided backstage tour gives you the chance to have a look behind the scenes of the Nürburgring. Close encounter with 80 years of motorsport history.
As with all our tours, a full route book is included.
The tour costs £259 per person (based on two persons haring a car and room) and includes ferry crossing, three nights’ hotel accommodation, breakfast, group dinner of the first evening, detailed roadbook, and rally plate.
