The organisers of the 2021 Roger Albert Clark Rally (25-29 November 25-29) are gearing up for a rush of entries when the event entry list is opened on April 30.
With 350 forest stage miles in five days across England, Scotland and Wales, the biennial event will be a massive boost for UK rallying after two years heavily impacted by the COVID pandemic. Teams, engineers, preparers, component suppliers and fuel and tyre companies will all benefit from the event after around 18 months with very little forest rallying in the UK.
There is expected to be an immediate rush for the 115 places earmarked for UK crews and Rally Manager Colin Heppenstall has confirmed that places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Crews will need to enter on-line via the rallies.info entry system. A completed entry form along with payment of the £1000 entry deposit will be needed to secure a place in the entry list.
Heppenstall said: “The level of interest in the event is unparalleled and we are expecting a big rush when the list is opened at 9am on Friday 30 April. We expect the 115 places available for UK crews to fill very quickly. It is imperative that intending competitors download the event regulations and follow the entry and payment instructions to make sure of a place.”
The event regulations are due to go live on-line on Sunday evening (April 25) and will be available on the event website at www.racrmc.org. Full details of how to make an entry will be detailed in the regulations.
