Produced to mark the Fiesta XR2’s 40th anniversary, the XROC are auctioning a special, one-off signed banner – with all proceeds going to charity
Fancy an exclusive piece of Fiesta XR2 memorabilia? 2021 is the 40th anniversary of the iconic hot-hatch and to celebrate this, the XR Owners Club (XROC) designed and produced a special 128×32.5 cm banner. After this, it was decided to auction this off for charity and the club has had the banner signed by three members of the Ford Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) team originally involved on the XR2 program:
Rod Mansfield, legendary manager; Harry Worrall, program supervisor; Geoff Fox, Body & Trim/Ride & Handling; plus Jeremy Walton, motoring journalist and author who drove the XR2 for the launch TV advert.
Supported by Ford and Classic Ford, the auction is on now and will run for 10 days. The XROC has teamed up with Saint Francis Hospice, hosts and organisers of the Frankies Classic Car Fest, as 100% beneficiaries of this auction.
The winning bidder will also receive a certificate of authenticity.
