The traditional season-ender for the classic car world, the Classic Motor Show 2021 makes its return from November 12-14
Classic fans will be glad to see that the traditional elements of the Classic Motor Show show are all present and correct for 2021.
Focus will naturally be the club displays, with almost 200 car and bike clubs setting up stands, while the usual array of classic car dealers will also be present.
The Classic Motor Show is traditionally the venue for the final of the Meguiar’s Club Showcase and this year will see the best of the best with entrants already having won prizes in their own club concours.
Ever popular is the Pride of Ownership competition which sees 16 privately owned cars (the number capped for Covid safety) voted for by the showgoing public, with the winner and two runners-up receiving a trophy and £250 worth of free insurance from Lancaster.
As well as live action on the main stage there will also be live action of the mechanical kind outside the venue. The Sporting Bears charity will be running their usual Dream Rides operation providing rides in exotic cars in return for a charity donation, while new for this year is classic rallying firm Hero-Era’ arrive-and-drive scheme, offering the chance to drive around a route on the NEC site.
Meanwhile, those looking to buy will be pleased to know that the popular auction returns on both days of the show, with Silverstone Auctions promising a bumper catalogue of lots.
